Thank you for taking the time to document all this.

It is sure to help as I install some Katzkins. I can already tell the salesman was wrong when he told me it was mostly velcro with a few zip ties on the HHR.

Hmm the going rate for cloth covers is $200?

Not sure...I've only seen two sets go for that price...one I saw was asking closer to $550

I guess timing is everything.

I am loving my custom two-tone interior, BTW.

also, I hand washed my old covers in cool water with a few drops of Woolite. It was amazing how much dirt came out! Something people might want to do before installing used covers...
