Here is my interior (needs to be cleaned) with the ebony seat covers and factory grey carpet. Also you can see my leather steering wheel with radio controls I installed.

Looks great! Where did you find your covers / how much did you pay?

Agreed, I love the black carpet as well. But it saved me $200 to not buy the carpet plus install time. I can do that later if I choose. Carpet is alot easier than those dang covers! lol

I spent $200 for the cover used on here they used to be BLAQ's. Then I paid $400 for an upholstery shop to install them. I dropped it off in the morning and it was ready mid afternoon! Awesome!

Anyone have the GM part number for the ebony carpet? I'd love to find a totaled HHR with ebony interior and just strip it. Would love more to find an SS in ebony and strip the interior :) No luck so far.

I found a number for that carpet a while back and went to GM Parts Direct and was shocked at the shipping cost. I went to my dealer and showed him the price from GMPD and when he said there would be shipping I played dumb and agreed that there would be a few dollars haha. He came down in price and made it about the same as if I went to GMPD with the shipping, etc. plus I made him feel like I'd rather be dealing with him anyway.

So the buyer (you) became the salesman. You sold him on the fact that he should reduce his price to make his sale. Good job.
