Cold Snowing day at yard picking up lather interior, grabbed a set of black ft door panels with intentions to cut 2 removable sections out to move to my Grey panels. In my hast I didn't notice or consider looking, they looked in great shape and grabbed them.... Once home in garage and began cutting off plastic knobs to remove it when I noticed the arm rests were different. Well, that was a waste of $$ that's 5 hrs away... trash can now. My lesson learned!!

Haste makes waste! A tip for next time , take pictures on your phone and then match up the parts at the yard.

My 2010 SS has them on the door.

Ha! True true! But I made the mistake of assuming all HHR's were floor switches, so didn't bother to even inspect. It was -8 with -50 windchill... after grabbing the interior, I was moving fast and just grabbed.
If I had even "looked" with focus, I was busy looking at the overall condition on the back side, a quick look I would have noticed at the yard and kept looking at other HHR's.
My Bad, my loss... glad it wasn't a big purchase... lost a nice lunch price.... but learned something new too!

Hmmmm, interesting... so did all the SS models have door switches?
This one didn't say SS, the Interior wasn't SS... would have liked to find the SS interior. But it did have the SS Rr Spoiler and SS Wheels.
Ft end & Rr bumper was gone, so I couldn't see bumper style, but I think I recall the Grill being standard style... crunched.

Late model main switch 2008-2011. It's for all models. My 2010 LS had them on the door also.

You're right... I swear I've seen 2009, and others with floor switches. But looking up the floor switch it covers 2006 - 2008, with 2008 being a mid-year change. I assume Panels were last to phase over due to limited windows?
That's an interesting one, I've always noticed the floor windows switches and indirectly made an assumption based on perception only.

Ah, sorry OCD kicking in here, the window switches on the 2006 thru 2008 HHR are in fact in the console, below the HVAC control panel just in front of the shifter

yes, all SS models from 2008 thru 2010 had the window switches on the drivers door armrest
