Hi All!
Just purchased the above a couple of days ago, and I love it! It's dark Battle Ship Grey (for lack of nomenclature) and has 36K miles pristine miles on the odometer.
The only things I'm going to have to get used to are:
1) The electronic steering (my other car is a '75 VW Beetle convertible which gives a little more steering feedback).
2) The lack of vertical visibility through the windshield.
3) The excessive height of the brake pedal (which make it kinda hard to reach for my itty-bitty feet).
Other than that, it drives like a dream, and carries a much larger payload than you'd think when seen from the outside, even with my Newfie occupying the (entire) back seat.
Best regards,
Jacques

to the forum Jacques, and congrats on your new ride!To adress your observations in order...
1. The EPS does seem numb compared to other vehicles, but I think you'll come to like its "quick reflexes", HHR's have an excellent chassis, and they can be made to handle with some of the best.
2. You can invest in a Prismatic Traffic Light Viewer, here's a link to the kind I use....LightInSight - Windshield Mounted Traffic Light Lens
3. The brake pedal could be on the same plane as the accelerator, but give it a few weeks, and it'll be less noticeable.
You'll find tons of info here, but never hesitate to ask questions.
Thanks for the tip on the LineInSight Lens...I have had my 2011 HHR for about 4 months now, am 5'9" in height and have already spent many a minute sitting scrunched down in seat or trying to rearrange my vertebrae to see the traffic lights. Will definitely be ordering one of those!
to the forum zoomie!I'm 5' 11 1/2" tall, and like many others here I did the "HHR Scrunch" until going with a prismatic viewer. They worked for our Grandparents back in the day, and they're much nicer than trying to "shrink" at traffic lights.
Yeah, you could stop farther back at intersections, but in large cities that'll get you a taxi in the backseat.
