Also New to site....not to HHR

Bought my first 2006 HHR in Jan 07. Was a "program car" (read "rental unit from a major rental company). Had 24000 miles on it. Loved it. Drove it for 1 1/2years and had 58000 miles on it. GM offered 0% for 72 months, so I could buy a new one for about the same monthly payment as the used one. Got a nice upgrade with sun roof and all the nice little extras the first one didn't have. Went to the dealer to buy SS....but the practical side of me came home with this one. My wife drives it mostly and loves it, too.

Welcome Coburn. As a new SS owner that uses it for daily driver and transporting developmentally disabled folks duty, I'm curious why you did not consider it practical enough. It gets about the same mpg as the other versions, and has a nice ride.

Another Newbie

Joined the forum last night so I could learn how to pull the headliner. Have owned our 2007 HHR since Nov. 2006, but $6000 worth of hail damage, repairs, and repeated trips to the body shop still couldn't stop the water leak coming from what I believe to be the front luggage rack seal. Now that I've gotten the instructions (very detailed) I'll see if I can't cure what the body shop couldn't. Thanks for the instructions!!
