Thanks for the reply. Sounds like good advice. They said the check engine light came on. I spoke to the manager and he said they were going to change the turbo solenoid and if that was the problem he would still sell it to me. I should know something today.

I negotiated the deal over the phone and the internet. The salesmen said it was an excellent one owner HHR with clean car fax and there were no problems with the car. We agreed on the price and terms. I was to go to the dealer yesterday and test drive the car and if it checked out I would buy it. If the dealer were to take my car on trade, there would be no problem, I would just pass and continue to look for another HHR. But on his suggestion (I have this in writing) I sold my truck and now I am left without transportation. That's what I get for trusting a salesmen.

Cavet emptor! No signature and no contract then for all you know they sold it to someone else, unfortunate for you!
Somebody on here has a nice SS for sale PM them!
Look at it this way, it wasn't meant to be!

Thanks for the replys. That's the way I look at it, If it's meant to be it's meant to be. I havn't giving up hope that it's just a solenoid or something simple and I can pick it up today. You don't find to many 2010's option the way I wanted it around here.

Thanks again for the replys. I'll keep the board informed. The salesmen ask if I would be interested in another car. I told him the HHR SS was the only car I was interested in. He said they were still trying to fix it, replacing the least expensive part first and working there way to the turbo. He said they think there was a leak somewhere. I'll let you all know. Thanks, Lester

Maybe a cracked pipe in the inter cooler plumping! Or even just a loose clamp
Is this a GM shop working on it?

Hmm. I don't recall any solenoid in the SS's turbo system.

I know, I thought the same thing. I guess I negotiated such a low price he wanted to back out of the deal. ($2,000 under blue book) and since I wouldn't let him off the hook he had no choice he had to sell me the car. He called me yesterday and told me to pick up the car. The SS runs and drives great. Thanks everyone for there input.
