Bought an 06 HHR Yesterday

Ok, Yesterday I drove my first HHR, I bought it at a pretty good price "I think" and today I drove it home.

The Good: 2LT, Daytona Blue, Cashmere Leather, Polished Alloys, 2.4, Pioneer. The paint and exterior is truly tip top, the leather is excellant, and the wheels are super with no curb rash at all with tires at about 70%!

The Bad: 108K on the clock, has a "Thunk" in front end when going over bump mostly on right side (Not bad). Steering wheel controls are screwed up! The buttons on the left side (DIC) are intermittent and the clear button appears to act as menu button while the cruise buttons seem to work fine. The right side radio control buttons are screwed as well the + volume control turns the volume down.

So, I just got started on this project and any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

PS: Cross posted in the lounge. Sorry

Welcome aboard!! Can't really provide any insight into the "thunk" in your front end, you might try searching the forum for suspension noise. From looking at the service manuals, it seems to me that your problems are centered in the wheel itself, again a forum search might be of more help. All that being said, glad to have you here and congrats on the new purchase.
