Cobalt Owner (for now)
Hello all,
Just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. Long time lurker who finally decided to join up. I've been doing quite a bit of research into the HHR's and am looking at picking one up as my daily driver in the not too distant future(fingers crossed). Lots of great information here and look forward to reading and contributing, as much as I can.
I've loved the HHR since it's concept days and wish I had have waited and purchased the HHR instead of the Cobalt. The way it worked at the dealership I was employed for at the time was, you have to purchase a vehicle off the lot or you would incur further cost. My Monte Carlo had died, so I had to take what I could get. Now, don't get me wrong, the Cobalt has been a fantastic car for me in all it's 212k...and is more reason for me wanting an HHR.
I work as a GM parts guy and have since '94...so if you have any parts related(or dealer related) questions, don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer them.
I don't think I'm missing anything...but if I am, I'll fill it in as we go along here.

Welcome Kevin/SholtC!!!!!! Sounds like you got your $'s worth out of the Cobalt at 212K - congrats.
And it's great having another parts guy on board - I'm sure some will have the odd question for you.
