Well I guess I now own an 09 HHR SS. My wife is on vacation and she texted me today to tell me that she saw one at a dealership and was going to stop in and take a look at it. Then she called me a couple hours later to tell me that they had worked out a deal and the dealership was overnighting me the final paperwork. From the details she gave me it sounds to be a better choice then the one I was looking at before. Now it's killing me that I'm not going to be able to see it in person until she gets back on Tuesday. Here's a pic I got off of the dealership's website.

The one that my wife just picked up is an auto. We looked at a couple sticks before this one, but this one is pretty low mileage and she prefers an auto. You know what they say "happy wife=happy life." So we ended up with the auto.

Hey congrats great choice
And great job by your wife.
Yes its true stock vs stock the auto makes less power
But once you add a a gm turbo upgrade hp is equal and you can leave the line with boost with an auto
The fastest ss so far is an auto 2005 hhr auto
Huge difference with the gmtu just make sure you buy the kit from crate engine depot.
Or enjoy as is
Welcome aboard
