I will likely be getting the gmtu in the fairly near future. I haven't really heard any negative reviews on it. So it seems like it would be the best upgrade for the price when I decide I want a little more power out of it.

Well. Last night I finally got to see my HHR SS and take it for a drive. It has pleasantly surprised me with how quick it is. But the things I've read about traction issues when launching it from a stop are no joke. Every time I try to do a boost launch at all, I just end up leaving 2 black marks down the road.

That means you should skip stg-1 just tune it to boost 24. The only way to hook up is better tires. Fun aren't they...

Yeah, it's fun. I had originally planned on a tune being my first mod but now I think it may be a few mods to help traction.

The TTR mount is definitely on the to do list. As far as the tires go, the dealer installed a new set of Michelin Pilot HXMX M4s right before I bought it. After reading reviews of them, it looks like there are a lot of people out there who have had traction issues with these tires. Though, with how much I'm spinning them, it won't be too long before I need to replace them.
