My wife and I have been looking for a couple of months for something to replace her 2000 Ford Windstar. I've kind of liked the HHR since I got one as a rental a few years ago. I've been mainly lurking on this forum for a few weeks trying to learn all I could about them.

Well, this afternoon we finally pulled the trigger on this '09 LT1 we've been looking at . It's Victory Red with black interior, all windows tinted with vent visors, and has a sunroof, 11K miles and GM Certified. The dealer and I didn't agree to a price until after I walked out and came home. He called me just before closing and we compromised on a price. Unfortunately, this means that we can't pick up our new baby until Monday. I took this photo the first time I saw her about three weeks ago.

Thanks again to everyone here who (unknowingly) helped us to make a decision to buy the HHR. I can't wait to see our new little red car parked next to my red crew-cab Ford F250 Super Duty.

Thanks guys. Yes, The pinstripe is actually a double stripe, silver on top and black on bottom. We've been lusting after this car for a month now. We test drove it three weeks ago, we wanted to do a little longer test drive today, but didn't actually intend to buy it yet.

I'll post some more photos in a couple of days.
