Introductions Welcome! Please take a moment to say hello.

Finally! I put a deposit on an HHR LT2. It may have an issue? Why didn't I ask here?

Looking at the pic's I would say,

It shows it has standard 16" wheel covers and a 2.2L engine based on the exhaust tip.

I am surprised it has running boards and a rear air foil and front Fog Lights but no Appearance package.

It must just be a custom ordered 1LT.

If it truly is a 1LT, and a 2.2, that may be grounds to get your deposit back, if you're having second thoughts. False advertising.

The published VIN is a 5 speed manual LS with a 2.4L. Evidently special ordered LS and the chrome exhaust tip got lost somewhere.
If it also had a sunroof it would be a special order 2LT with 5 speed.

We are all just nitpicking the dealer; enjoy your new ride!

One more Clue ..

Look closely at the Pic showing the rear hatch.
Lower right hand side.

It is a little fuzzy but it sure looks like an Chrome LT I.D. to me.

Other clues are it does not have a cargo mat which the LS did not have.
That could have been taken out though so it is not solid proof.

It also shows it has a power drivers seat which the 1LT or 2Lt would have.

It looks clean

Then it's frosty, but the grille looks like an LS brushed nickel

I'm sure it's just the cold!!

Nice looking LT

And, that's a SS spoiler. I'm starting to think this one was modded out by a previous owner. I would want to do a good VIN and RPO code deceipher to find out what this car really is (was).

Blue,

"It's let you know it likes you"!

You got that right. There just plain fun to drive.

Good ergonomics make it a pleasure.

That is the one thing that really convinced me.
I rented one a few years back for a week-long road trip and it was great to drive because it was comfortable inside.
A subsequent rental of a PT Cruiser with its poor ****pit layout and horrible seats told me to stay away from those.
Hell, my legs started falling asleep after an hour of driving due to the edge of the seat cutting off my circulation.

Added bonus: even a fairly low-end sound system sounds great in the HHR.
I think the engineers who designed the interior did a bang up job!

I Laughed when I saw your feelings on the PT seats.

I was ready to buy a loaded PT Silver with Black interior trim back before the HHR was born.

The 2 front Bucket Seats "Killed the Deal, but we did not notice it until we went back to make the purchase we both sat in the car for about 60 minutes putting all the order components together.
At about 45 minutes my legs tended to go to sleep and I realized the even at a mere 162 lbs. and narrow body frame the side seat bolsters were way to narrow for me .
I thought to myself ... how the heck do most men weighing 190 to 250 or so live with these seats.
When you see how many PT's were sold over there long production schedule, not many buyers picked up on that critical issue, or else just installed a undersized seat cushion to fill the center section, or just decided to try to live with driving it with a sore A_S and numb legs and feet.

Thank You GM for reinventing a Retro I really Like.
