Hi guys! just wanted to say you have an awesome site here. i wish i would have found it sooner. My girlfriend and i have had a nice little 08 HHR for the past 4 yrs until Monday, when she hydroplaned off the road. My gf was driving home, alone when it happened. Thankfully she's fine, minor bruises and such, but our HHR is a goner. I used to complain about the car alot, mostly minor stuff. we had to have speakers replaced, like many of you, and the car always had a tendency to hydroplane, even with brand new tires. The biggest bummer is just the day before the accident, i replaced the factory stereo with one i ordered from a popular dealer online. Now i'm stuck with all these adaptors they made me buy lol.

I don't think we'll be purchasing another HHR, nothing personal, she just has her eyes on a VW Passat so we'll see how that goes. Good luck to you all and keep up the great work, you have an awesome site! Cheers!!

 

Hello- Bummer about things.. Good that your GF is fine tho..Rides can always be replaced.

No issues here w/hydroplaning. But I'm lowered, etc ...
