The Forum is Awesome!
I bought my second HHR last summer, but developed a water leak in December (just in time for the Michigan winter) from the cowl membrane that allowed water into the passenger compartment and shorted out the blower motor resistor. I followed the HHR Network posts and repaired the problem in about 1.5 hours and became a real believer in the forum.
Within the last three weeks I have lost my power steering (DIC warning) and turned to the Forum again for help. With the help of fellow members and in particularly Stryker, I was able to diagnose, order (GM Parts Giant) and replace the electric motor in about 1.0 hour. Thanks again HHR Forum members!
