Hey everyone, been looking around the site for a couple days trying to get familiar with the custom HHR stuff.
Got my GoldLine springs on the way.
Got my JL 10s, 4 fozgate 6 1/2, Alpine amp. All through the factory deck.

I will be an active member with pics to share.

Going for a salt flat racer look.

Future plans are to get rid of the humps in the bumpers,
Lower it,
Black steel wheels
chrome nuts and bullit caps
Remove the wiper on the rear
Louver the hood and rear gate.

Might I suggest Wheel Vintiques for the solid rims, with matte finish for painting them black. Solid, instead of holed rims..

 

Thats what I was thinking. My only concern about those wheel are they are not hubcentric. But Ive done some reading and it seems no one is having any problems with vibration.... so Im sure thats what Im going to use for wheels.
I think the solid wheel is perfect for the look I want.
