Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 2006 2LT HHR and in my search for answers I landed here. I have been very impressed with the knowledge of the regular contributors here. I have already fixed a few issues and hope to tackle a few more in the coming months.
I found my dream car in South Dakota, a 6 hour drive. A 2006 2LT with 28k miles on it she had a handful of issues. Both front wheel bearings were bad along with all 4 tires. Both front rotors were warped and the brake pads were worn to the rivets. Already a couple of grand deep after buying it but well worth the trouble…so far.
The only disappointing part is the color, I would have loved the red, black, or orange but for the miles and price I couldn't refuse.
Following the posts here I already did my first mod (though minor). Looking forward to doing a lot more.
