Hello boys and girls

Although I've had my 2008 red, 5 speed SS for more than a year I've only recently found this website. My other car is a bright yellow 2005 Lotus Elise. I got the HHR for when I needed something a little more practical. I got the SS because I didn't want to get too practical.

I think my golden retriever, Emmy, likes the HHR better than the Lotus, but she seems to be happy in both vehicles. I'm a retired engineer and a widower so Emmy and I travel quite a bit. We're going to western Colorado in August in the Lotus. She'll miss the room the HHR provides, but we'll have fun meeting all the car enthusiasts who want to look at the car and all the animal lovers who want to interact with the dog. Car enthusiasts and animal lovers are mostly great people.

I hope everybody is having a great summer.

Apparently I can't post a picture on this board, so I put a couple of photos here: http://s71.photobucket.com/albums/i123/webowser/

Welcome!

Welcome to the club. You will get lots of inspiration for your HHR here. I know I have. The Lotus Elise is a bad little sports car. No wonder fluffy dog likes the HHR. We once had a Lotus Elise car club come to us for a suspension test. These cars are cool!:
