Hello everyone!
Hello everyone!
Well my old car finally reached the end of it's life at 215+K. it was a 91 Eagle Talon and i had alot of fun with that car and put lots of money into it in repairs, but the engine went again for the second time and being a 2 seater didn't offer me much room for hauling around computer parts. I have always liked the HHR and so I looked around to see what was out there. I came across a real nice 2007 2LT leather interior heated seats moon roof premium sound 6-disk changer privacy glass roof rack compass in the mirror(always thought that was cool) has the 2.4L and 5- speed manual and a nice maroon red has 47K on the ODO got what i think is a good deal on it and even talked the dealership down 3K on the asking price. runs and drives like a dream!
Well Lonewolf maybe you should get some kind of medal for keeping an Eagle going for almost twenty years. But I do know a guy with 410,000 on an old Eagle Summit wagon, so I guess some did last. Great to hear you love your HHR and I'm sure that it'll be chugging along too as it nears its twentieth birthday.
Thanks guys!
and thanks for welcoming me I think you HHR's ROCK! really sweet have a few plans for mine...something different but my partner is saying NO!!!! lol I have only had it for a little more than a week and already I want to modify it...... well wouldn't you?

Great choice!
I paid $9k for my similarly equipped manual 2LT in January and have never regretted it, and have modified as noted below. Girlfriend is in midst of purchasing 2006 2LT in Orange from member of this list. Fully optioned manual 2LTs are a rare bird, and I feel they are the best way to go unless you are an all-out performance fanatic (and willing to rely on GM for turbo parts).
