I never did say hello.....
As you can guess from my username I used to race but now I've gotten too old to live any more dangerously than driving a 2007 HHR LT2. I posted some pictures the other day and here is a picture of the last car I raced and it is now in a museum in Puerto Rico. In Europe they were called Vw-Porsches but here in the states they were called the 914.
Looks like it was a nice performer, the wide body wings/fenders have me wondering if it is a 914 or a 914-6?
Oh yeah, the VW connection was downplayed here, those two letters can still cause a Porsche guy to foam at the mouth.
Semi-retired racer myself, ran a Camaro in SSGT and a Vette in SSP. Then I got a couple of ARCA and ASA rides before having a huge shunt at Road Atlanta, that lead to a long period of recovery and my "semi-retired" status.
Lately my "living dangerously" is limited to DC traffic and keeping up with a growing son.

The car started racing as a 2.4L four cylinder and then in 2002 I converted it to a 2.8L six cylinder and did about 8 or 9 races a year but thing got really expensive when gas hit $8.50 a gallon and that little six used 5 to 6 gallons each half hour race and 6 sessions a weekend! But it was fun!
