An Introduction
Hello and allow me to introduce myself.
Long time HHR admirer, first time owner.
Just bought a 2008 Silver one with the graphite black interior. 2.4L, auto with the moonroof and 16" chrome wheels.
Bought it last week and although it is not plated yet I still cleaned the whole interior and shampooed the carpet and seats, buffed the exterior and added 2 coats of wax. Changed the cabin filter and cleaned and oiled the K&N filter.
About me: I am 41 years old, never married. I currently have 2 show vehicles a 94 S10, and a 93 S10 rat rod style. I do roughly 40-50 car shows a year with these trucks. I bought this HHR not as a show vehicle but as a daily driver to replace my van I sold a month ago.
I am a home/car installer by profession, have been since 1994. I also taught myself to pinstripe about 4 years ago. I enjoy working on my vehicles and drinkin beer. Go Packers!
Future plans: Install a alarm/remote starter, deep six the stock deck for a Pioneer AVH double DIN unit, new component speakers up front and still undecided on amps and subs. I need to keep this thing practical.
I also plan on pinstriping it once I decide on colors.
As far as this forum is concerned I will get on a few times a week, prob hang out in the car audio section since that's my passion.

Nice vehicles. Pretty silver HHR.
I have a 1996 S-10 V-6 three door that I bought new and has just over 70,000 miles. I always wanted to chop the top but don't think I'll ever get it done. I have 30 years on you.
