Just another Know it All
Hi!
I'm Chris. I enjoy wrenching and love saving the money that comes with it.
My current garage houses a 08 HHr LT, 02 XLT exploder, 02 Roush Mustang, 1950 Ford Kustom Lead sled, 1997 Chevy S10 SS, 2008 Ducati Motard1100 and a 2002 Yamaha Raptor 660.
I Just picked up the HHR today and found this forum for some tech help.
I'm now 34 and I have been turning wrenches forever without much assistance but recently I discovered forums. I have spent lots of time on motorcycle and traditional hot rod forums and I now consider my forums as one of my favorite tools when wrenching.
Hopefully I can give as much as I take here. See you around!
Here are some pics of the others in the garage.

The 02 Xlt 1st day owned
02 Roush stage 2 1st day owned

Welcome to the site...the Nor-Cal group is having a G2G in Modesto on Oct 24, we hope you can join us for the day. Check out: click on the Regional tab above, then click on California to see other G2G in the works. Is that Hollister Hills with the Raptor?

I was checking out the Modesto event links. I was trying to convince myself to roll but it's kind of far for me(2hrs10mins each way). I would be interested in an event somewhere closer to the bay or a group drive in or through my area.
Is there a San Jose chapter for norcal hhr in the works?
Maybe i could start one and get "Da Prez" painted on my back window?
Yes that is hollister hills with The big MX jumps in the background.

Cool Thanks,
The shoebox is the pride of the fleet. Built for the daily driver grind with a late model chassis and all the amenities of the modern era, power everything, AC, etc.
She is getting ready for paint, That old Rat scheme has never been more over done. I can't wait to see some color on her.
I'm thinking about something along the line of this. Deep Pearl white with some nice line work.
