Just joined the club...
Picked this up yesterday:
It's a 2010 LS with 38K. It's replacing my 2000 V8 Dakota that I was using as a family vehicle.
While certainly not as powerful, I'm absolutely loving instantly doubling my gas mileage (driven about 100 miles since yesterday, only a few highway miles, 28.3 avg), and honestly it's a little quicker than I expected.
Anyways, just saying hello and I'm looking forward to any advice anyone has to offer!

Lots of good info and people here!
You'll love the gas mileage coming from a truck like that. They say gas only goes one direction, and that's up... Even if it goes down 5 cents one day it goes up 10 cents the next.
By the way, is that color called "Crystal Red Metallic", do you know? There's so many different red colors nowadays I get mixed up. Mine is called "Sport Red Metallic" but its a 2007 and they don't make that color now. They're all just fancy names for maroon.

Yeah, it's Crystal Red Metallic, which I think looks great on it.
I paid just under $12K for it, sold my truck for $4K, and with as much as I drive the gas savings alone pay the $8K difference. When I went to look at it on Wednesday I was not really in the market for a newer vehicle, but after crunching the numbers I felt dumb not buying it... It certainly didn't hurt that I love the looks of the HHR as well.

I just made my firt post today too. Joined almost 3 years ago. You will learn allot about your car at places like this. How to fix stuff, service bullitins and the like. I had a Caddy CTS and hung out on that sight for 3 years. It helped me allot and saved me some money.
