New 2008 Black SS owner here!
My wife said "what? those are so ugly!" But I dug the retro vibe, and the fact I could carry everyone and stuff (for comparision, her car is a Fiat 500 Sport)
Then I saw the SS and it was over. that was gonna be my car! Found a Black one with low miles on Autotrader, and though it took 4 hours in travel and over 4 at the dealer to close on it, it sits in my driveway today, and I am very pleased! I'm currently trying to figure out what has been done to to it, but it looks like all the cool stuff is on there already TTR, GM, Borla, Aerotech, etc. Looking forward to going for a ride!

on your ride play with your t/c button and hit it twice or hold it down for around 10 seconds till it says esc off
then go out and play and see what kind boost you get and hold
have fun

I know right? lol In her defense though she commutes 120 miles a day and that lil car gets 40-44 mpg most times. Tell you who'll be most happy (outside me) for the HHR, it's my 120lb Labradoodle who looked like a circus bear in the back of the Fiat!
