New 2009 LS owner, Dallas Texas

Hi all,
I "Cash for Clunkers" my 4WD and got a black HHR LS and really like it so far (1 week).
I've got some good info from this forum already, thanks!
Planned MODs:
1). Stubby antenna (on order).
2). Full window tint with windshield eyebrow and headlight lens.
3). Cold air intake looks like CSG is best?
4). Wheels, still looking.
5). Headers/ exhaust system, still looking.

My engine is the 2.2L VVT flex-fuel (LE8). Can anyone tell me if there is much to be gained from any head work? If so is there a place(s) that specializes in Ecotec motor work?

Thanks HHR owners!! ...What's HHR really stand for?

Thumbs up Welcome!!!

my wife has a black '09 LS with manual transmission that we got in March. We just got back from our annual vacation, driving over 2,800 miles! We love it!

Welcome!
I also just bought a 09 HHR LS last month under the cash for clunkers program. I've been doing alot of looking at aftermarket items for mine as well. Personally, I think you'd gain more from an exhaust than a cold air intake. CGS makes both by the way Appears as far as a full exhaust goes CGS is alot cheaper than some of the big name exhausts. Most of the upgrades I do are going to be cosmetic, I just put new wheels on my car yesterday. You can see them under the Appearance section if interested. There is only so much performance you can get out of a small 4 cyl esp. 2.2L
If I want performance I'll drive my 66 Chevy II Nova or 72 Chevelle Malibu
