New Couple Here
I've always liked the looks of the SSR and HHR Panel Trucks and I finally bought a 2008 HHR Panel last weekend...It will be delivered to me tomorrow so I don't even have photos of it yet but that will definitely change. Eve is more than ready for another photo shoot.
Will post some photos of it as soon as I can, it's a BLINDINGLY RED color, or perhaps Arrest Me Red is a better description, although that anemic little 4-cylinder probably won't go fast enough to get a speeding ticket with. I've never been much of a 4-cylinder fan, although now all three of my vehicles have 4's...the HHR, a PT Cruiser and my Yamaha Venture.
Anyway...just wanted to say hi...will get some photos up soon and already have a couple questions I need help with.

Welcome to the Site! You will find lots of very helpful folks here. And loads of information!
I believe your color is "Victory Red". The color was called "Bright Red" when adorning Corvettes up to 1992. In 1993, Corvette went to "Torch Red".
Based on your Handle, you probably know that. Just trying to lend a hand here.
Can't wait to see the pictures!

Aboard!
Yup, good old GM code 81 Victory Red, it's had a few different names over the years, but it'll still work for getting attention.
Anemic, banish the thought, no matter whether you're talking 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4 Litre Ecotec engines, there's more horsepower to be found in them.

Any pop "Trifecta Tune" into our custom linked Google driven Search box at the top of the page, those of us running Trifecta'd HHR's would never go back to bone stock.

It's better than "Default Maroon", which is what GM used to select for Dealer Stock Orders back in the day, if no color was selected on a unit ordered for inventory...you got Maroon.
And judging by the "every other car/truck is painted Maroon" syndrome I see in my travels around the U.S. and Canada, I think GM is still doing it. Along with Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, etc.
And for those lovers of the color Maroon here, I've already summoned the angry villagers with the torches and pitchforks, so no need to storm "Castle Adminula".
