new from Florida.

Hello, my name is Andrew and I have an 06 model HHR. I am glad we have a support group. I have soldered my key fobs a couple of times, good to see it is a common problem. This past weekend I modified the tailgate and passenger side rear panel by backing into my truck. I like the HHR pickup idea. I am thinking four door with small flatbed? I haven't really gone through the archives yet but front passenger side carpet indicates a leak when it rains and speakers work better after going after a good bump in the road. I appreciate you letting me join the group.

Welcome aboard... You will probably never experience anything with your HHR that the helpful folks that frequent this site haven't already discussed. You will find lots of useful information here and will likely make some new friends as well.

to the forum Andrew!

Your water leak is coming from the dreaded "butyl patch" in the cowl area, it affects 2006 and very early production '07 models.

Here's a thread on fixing the problem, just click the link below....

Welcome from Michigan

Welcome Andy from Fla.

Thanks for joining. Haven't had any problems with my '08 HHR Panel except ignition and dealer replaced that free.
