I did not know about the BCM connection, I am still used to old fashioned analog cars.
What I got from the links, and I did have to dig a bit, is do not mix orange and green. That seems to be what caused the problems, at least that's what GM stand is. It is very easy for me to believe that people would say "coolant is coolant" and never even know that the green stuff got put in to top off.
Don't I remember that one of the big coolant makers had a huge settlement about the green stuff? Maybe I am mixing them up
, I do seem to remember it being almost impossible to buy any color coolant for while.
