I live in the snow belt and its been awhile since I have owned Front wheel drive. I placed a order for a 2010 HHR Panel 2LT.
I guess the question that I need answered is how do they handle on ice and snow covered roads? How much snow will they handle before you hang it up and need a tow truck to get you out?

Welcome to the site!

While there are many threads you can read about winter driving in the HHR you can rest assured that these things do pretty dang well for a FWD vehicle in the snow. Myself I have upgraded to some winter tires and you can find more threads about that as well but I did it more to save my stock SS rims than necessity for the winter rubber.

to the site!!! They will get you around as good as most other front wheel drive vehicles (the SS a little less as a result of the 18" wheels). As Tom stated you can always add a set of dedicated snow tires to enhance your winter handling.
