Hey all! Just picked up my new (to me) SS last week. It's an '08 with 18k on the clock. I traded in my '07 Silverado on this and am loving the gas mileage so far! I already put a Pioneer head unit in and am signed up for Friday to get the turbo upgrade! I also have a shorty antenna, black Depo headlights and black Bowtie badges on order already. I do not waste any time! Here are some pics from the first couple of days of owning it. Thanks!

On a side note, did the '08s not come with a 'turbo' badge under the rear 'SS' badge? It seems that all of the ones I've seen on here had the 'turbo' badge on the rear.

It should have had the turbo badge. I removed all my badging. Great color choice

The dealer said it was first put into service in late '07. Possibly the earlier ones didn't come with this badge?

BTW, I love your orange SS HillsdaleHHR! Seeing pics of yours prompted me to go check out the orange SS that eventually became mine!
