Welcome to the site and if you're referring to the HHR userbars all you have to do is copy the code next to the color of your HHR. Then go to User CP, edit signature, paste the code you just copied in the box, and hit save. That should take care of it and hope this helps.

Hello bobnj and welcome to the forum. The oil life monitor in the DIC does not actually read the oil, it monitors conditions like operating temperatures, speed driving, stops and starts, etc. It then, based on pre-determined algorithms set up by GM engineers calculates how much life is left in your oil. So in practice, two identically equipped HHRs could both have 4,000 miles and one might say 35% oil life and the other might say 50% oil life. Or if one person is using a synthetic, the oil life monitor won't know that the oil hasn't broken down as much as it would with conventional oil...again it isn't monitoring oil life. And although synthetic oil doesn't break down as rapidly as conventional oil, it still gets contaminated just like conventional oil. This causes the oil to become a liquid abrassive that can harm your engine. So Don't Rely on the Oil Life Monitor at all. Change your oil every 3-5,000 miles no matter what! GM just sent out a memo to our dealership to reprogram oil life monitors because they are having sludge issues with people waiting too long between oil changes because they are relying on the o.l.m. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth. I hope it helps you :)
