Just wanted to say HI to everyone I live in North Bergen County of New Jersey,I have a Dark Red 2006 2LT it has approx 77,000 miles and I just love it so far, I have had it about 1 year. I do have my first question, my oil life gauge reads 65% life left, but it has 3,000 miles on the last oil change,how many miles does it go before it gets to 0? and yes I did reset it @ the last oil change.

 

Mine is about the same so I'll be waiting for a answer too.

welcome bobnj....my 07 with 76,000 on it will read 45% when I change my oil. I change oil at 5,000 miles and rotate and balance tires. s c

As for the oil change question, I'm a "trainee geezer" so its always changed at 3,000 miles, the oil life indicator never factors in.

I'm not from Jersey but I do change mine at 5000, when you see how nasty it looks, you wont run it longer either.

Welcome to the site, I don't go by the DIC either. I change every 3000 miles.

Hmm 3000 miles id have to change my oil once a week.
I follow the DAC 12-1500 miles using synthetic 195,000 miles no problems
