New Here, 06 1LT

Hello :) I recently bought my Dad's HHR when he got a new car. I got it for $2000 because it's a bit rough, but I worked at the dealership at the time my dad bought this. I drove it before he did in a dealer trade, I did the delivery detail, and I know it's entire history. I have fallen in love with this HHR since he got it with 14 miles on it

lol that she does. And theres some Vinyl graphics I still gotta razor off.

The blower is messed up, the butyl patch failed So I'm trying to find some butyl tape locally.

Forgot to mention it's a 5 speed manual , I missed driving stick.

HomeDepot etc. sells small tubes of butyl and any bit of tin will work. But, I seem to remember somebody said the patch kit was available from GM for like $14.

Welcome!

Thanks :) I got it patched up today and removed decals that were on it lol. Now it's looking more like mine.

Looking into replacing the blower. This one works strong sometimes, but it's pretty intermittent. When I get it out I'll probably bench test it a bunch.

Check the blower resistor first, they can mimic a failing blower motor, and they're easier and much cheaper to replace.

yeah it seems to be the resistor or something else. Am I supposed to get voltage on any of those wires? I'm not

Also, I painted my bowties, looks a lot better :)
