New Here

Hi. I'm new here. Came in search to see if someone could help me with a speaker issue in my 2006 HHR LT. Drivers side post speaker is going out and the drivers door and both rear speakers have all stopped working completely.

Welcome to the site. Drivers speakers is going out or is out??? Common issue. I've had my door speakers replaced for the same reason. Do you have the pioneer system or the standard speakers?

Standard speakers. The tweeter on the post is going out. The drivers door, and both rear speakers are completely out but I thought I read something along the lines of being wired on a circuit and if 1 goes out it could effect others. Not really sure what is going on. Going to assume that replacing the speakers is all that is needed but can't find the sizes. I read that it was 6.75 but I cannot find any in that size.

You most likely have a wiring problem on the back of the deck or on the speaker, best option would be to swap out the deck and all speakers, considering the ones that came with it are HORRIBLE made out of cardboard. I couldnt stand them and had them done. Will sound 10x better! Front and rears i think were 6.5". The non pioneer setup came with the speakers rivoted on the door frame so you will need to buy the inserts for them, some speakers come with them in the box. Swap out the tweeters also. The oval shaped thingy on the tweeter column pops out and exposes the screw and then carefully pry it back. I put in all Infinity speakers (doors and tweeters), love them and have crisp sound! Just be careful on taking apart the door panels, they are plastic and cheap lol . There's about 4 clips ( i think? its been awhile ) holding the panel in place, careful with the door lock..or take it in and get it done if your not comfortable with it
