New here

Difficult navigating here. I got a 07 HHR LT. upgrading audio at the moment. I've noticed when I lock the vehicle, the rear hatch doesn't lock nor does it have a keyhole to lock it. Also when my windows are down around 50mph or so and higher, the left side I'm presuming my tire or power steering makes a high pitch whistle type of noise that you cannot hear through the right sides window. Thanks -M

Oh well. I removed the back wiper , wiper spray nozzle at the top. I used some cabinetry bolt to fill it and caulked it on the inside. Installed some mtx 1 inch tweets up front, Polk audio 6 1/2 in the doors. Got a old skool cerwin vega 8 inch to put in the back spacer once I get around to getting the amp wire kit then I'll be set there. Cheap enough. Got a pioneer avh-x2800bs in the dash. Removed the back wiper button and put the DVD bypass there, when I get my amp wire kit figure how to make it look clean.

In a few months hope to get some eibach and koni's going on. Gotta move state first

Welcome to the site.

That high pitch whistle may be coming from the drivers side mirror. I seem to recall a TSB years ago regarding this. Something to do with the mirror trim cap creating that noise.
The fix was putting some tape under the cap to seal out the wind/air.
