New HHR Owner From Portland, OR
Hello Everyone!
I was very excited to find this forum and all the useful advice on here. My wife and I inherited a 2006 HHR 2.2L Automatic (I'm still a bit confused on the 1LT vs 2LT) from her grandparents. The HHR is Sandstone Metallic and it only has 20K on it. The vehicle is in really nice condition, apart from a few deep scratches from when the Grandparents were at the end of their driving days.
I'm looking forward to customizing it like many of you have. At first I was not sure what to make of this strange looking retro machine, but like a new puppy it has really grown on me! Speaking of dogs, my two mutts love the room in the back with all the seats down.
I do wish it had more power but I see that there are a few things that can help or at least help me to believe I have more.

Welcome to the forum.... Enjoy the new ride!
There is a sticker in the glove box, it shows some of the option codes the car has, if one is FE3 then it's a 2LT. FE3 is "sport suspension" and only the 2LT has this. The sticker may also state 2LT or 1LT (I don't recall if mine does)

That's great! I get out to Beaverton about once a week to these days. Honk if you see a sandstone metallic HHR filled with photography equipment!

Welcome and Greetings!
