New hhr ss owner
Hi everybody. I am new to this site and a new HHR SS owner as of May 26, 2015. I had wanted one of these for so long. But they are hard to find unless you travel to get one. This particular one came up on ebay last week and it was a local car. I waited till the auction concluded and then began talking to the dealership about it. We began negotiating on Monday. I purchased it on Tuesday. I love it and my wife does, too. It is Sunburst Orange metallic and is in excellent condition. It is a 2008.

Thank you all. I am 63 y/o and have some health problems which preclude my traveling very far to look at cars. So, I was really hoping everything would come out for the good and it did.
I took it to Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet today to have the oil and filter changed as well as the air filter. I had no idea how long it had been since they had been changed. Also, I really wanted to see the underside of the car to help determine its condition.
I was pleasantly surprised. The air filter looked new and the oil filter did, too. I still had them to change everything anyway. And the underside of it looked beautiful. No leaks, extremely clean and it was obvious it had never been on a dirt road as there was no dirt or dried mud under it.
I love to buy a car and feel the previous owner cared as much about it as I do. Apparently, they did. I feel much better about the car today than I did yesterday.
These are great vehicles. Fun to drive, handles well, rides smooth, has ample power. What more could you want?
