New to forum.
Just wanted to say Hi. I just turned in my 08 HHR LT1 Cardinal Red Panel for a new 09 HHR SS Silver Ice Panel. Only have a couple hundred miles on it so far but have a problem. For some reason I can not get it to go into 5th gear. I wonder if I’m missing something? I tried pulling up on the ring used for reverse but still no luck. Any suggestions? I bought it with the performance package but was wondering about the staging upgrade. Is there a big difference in performance?

Never mind! Got rid of the SS.

Never mind! Got rid of the SS.

Well I got rid of the SS because I forgot how much I disliked shifting . Besides, the transmission was faulty, it would not go into 5th gear. Anyway I decided to order one from the factory just the way I want it. I was told by a local dealer this would be possible. I did love the SS power and handling.
