Hi everyone, just purchased a 2009 HHR LT for my mother-in-law. She loves it just like it is, but the hot rodder in me can't leave well enough alone, so I will be looking for some subtle mods and improvements and this looks like the place to find some good ideas; looking forward to being a member on the site!

Wow, thanks for the quick replies, I'm going to like this site! Mother-in-law is a (young) 76 years old, but we're just now getting her to use a cell phone and ATM machine after years of trying! She wouldn't even know how to turn on a computer, so I will definitely be her connection on here! I have a '37 Chevy showcar and '64 Nova daily driver - we go to lots of shows, and when we went car shopping for her, it was in the back of my mind that an HHR would be a way cool choice - my car is a sort of "spiritual ancestor" to her HHR!

Frankly, I want to fix it up a bit so she can join in the fun at some local tire kicker car shows, maybe park it next to my '37 and make it a family affair! Please see my thread on "Half Price Whitewalls" in the tire/wheel section, I want to make a tire change and need some help and ideas on this, she needs tires right away. Thanks again everyone!
