New SS Owner
Howdy! Just an intro....
Bought a new 2008 SS last nite...gonna be the wife's vehicle, but I like it, too. Dark blue metallic; 20,000 mi. Got a lot of nuts for a 4-banger. I'm sure the first "mod" my wife will do is ram the front air dam into a curb.
I'm the owner of a 2002 Ford SVT Lightning, so I'm somewhat knowledgeable about boosted engines. The L has a 4 lb overdrive pulley; cold air hood; DaibloSport programmer tune; Hi-Perf trans valve body. For $1000, you can really make these things scream.
I also do some free-lance detailing work on the side; the HHR oughtta look great after some swirl removal, polishing and a coat of BlackFire Wet Diamond.

Anyway, hoping to lurk here and learn about the SS.
