Welcome to the site & congrats on getting a top of the line HHR, the SS !!

your at the right place my guy!

When I bought mine..I was VERY new to the whole HHR SS Turbo world. Now....I feel I know alot just from this site and it's members.

As for some of the modifications...most people are go with a nice tune (which opens the thing up like crazy) and some simple bolt on's...like, a bigger Intercooler, Metal Turbo Piping instead of the junky plastic piping, & Catless Down Pipe. Pretty cool from just a tune...and a couple of very simple bolt on's....these things can produce some major major power!

Welcome to the site! As these fine folks have said there's a ton of potential in our SS' that can be easily unlocked. Enjoy and by all means ask any questions you have, I'm sure we'll be here to help you out.

Daily Driver

I just picked up a 2008 HHR SS and man this thing is going to get me in trouble. I needed a daily driver, so I parked the 2004 Cobra, 2006 Busa for a more all around daily driver. Well so far I have suprised a BMW M series, who took me lightly on the freeway, went after 2011 5.0L ( I work for these guys) and wow, is this thing fun. They had to get serious to get some meaningful seperation.

Stock, 5sp with 44,368 miles. I need to get this thing on a hoist to look for mods. Wow! Oh, did I mention the gas milage is great considering what I was driving.
