New From St. Louis, MO
Hello all!
I purchased my 2008 HHR SS on Tuesday. It's black, 4500 miles, automatic with the pioneer stereo, performance seat, and roof rails. As soon as the weather warms up a little it I will remove the emblems, cover the bow ties, and tint the front windows. I would have liked a manual, but I drive in rush hour traffic everyday and the women of the house can not drive a stick either.
A little about me....
I am closing in on forty years old, married, two kids (daughter thats 16...ugh!) and have been a car nut all my life. First car was a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere. I took the 225 slant six, three on the tree out, and replaced it with a 360 at the age of 18. I have owned several quick cars and done a lot of drag racing at Gateway Raceway. My two fastest cars were a 1969 Camaro (full cage, 383, nitrous) that ran 11s and a 2002 Camaro SS that ran 11s on the motor. Both ran on regular gas and were driven almost daily.
I am pleased with my HHR SS so far. I love the look, enjoy the ride, and appreciate the quickness.
Thanks for the forum!

Welcome.....love the previous toy list. Like what you have planned for the SS. GL with the 16yr old. Just remember to be patient. Did I say to remember to be patient? Yep, remember to be patient with her. The 16 year old that is!

Welcome to the group... Attached is a list of GMPP dealerships. Not sure about each's abilities; you'll have to interview them (that's what it takes). Some might not know what you're talking about and others have the turbo upgrade installation well worn.
If you find a candidate dealership to do the install, run it by this group for feedback. They're great about sharing experiences.
Good luck and enjoy your HHR SS!
