Saying Hello!
Hey all!
I recently became the proud owner of a gun-metal grey 2010 HHR LT model. Pretty standard - bought it from DriveTime...yes, I'm paying through the nose, but my credit was CRAP and I needed wheels.
Love to hear any basic upgrades you've done - anything that won't void the warranty for right now. Once I've paid it off, I'll go crazy!
For right now - the factory radio has a broken AUX jack. Touch anywhere near it and the system automatically switches to AUX. Anyone know of a fix for that, or should I plan on getting rid of the factory system.
As well, has anyone figured out how to use iPhone 5 with the factory radio? I don't mind terrestrial radio so much, but I'd love to use Pandora instead.
Thanks!

Welcome to the site if you need an owners manual you can down load one here. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/online-owners-manual-3074/
There are a lot of threads about the auxiliary jack on our radios. You can find more info by using the search bar at the top of the page.
If you replace the radio with a factory one it will need to be programed at the dealer for the radio to work. There is a tread that explains how to bypass this if your handy. Use the same search bar to find the info.

The AUX thing is probably a wire shorted in the connector at the back of the head unit, or maybe a plug broken off in there. Start with a flashlight and toothpick.
If your AUX plug worked you should be able to just plug the audio cable in. I have my laptop plugged in to listen to audio books.
