Vetteman also has an HHR SS
Hello all,
Been on the Corvette forums for many years known as "Lt4Man".
Traveled to Ohio at the beginning of September to purchase another "new to me" winter car.
Hey, I know the 225-45R18 tires might not help me in Chicago on the first day of a snowstorm. That is why I am keeping my previous winter car: 93 Grand Prix SE.
This 08 HHR SS Automatic is just the ticket! Having a lot of fun!
Keeping the car stock did not last very long. Found Crate Engine Depot on the Pontiac Solstice forum and had Rock Chevrolet in Grayslake IL install the GMTU this last Monday.
WOW!
I believe this one will be a keeper!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!
My friends ask me why I traveled to Youngstown to buy a car. I say: "I could not find this one any closer to Chicago!" Besides, the trip home afforded me the opportunity to bond with this phenomenal vehicle.
I promise not to relocate any more cars from Ohio for a while. I think my three should do me for now.
Enjoying this site immensely. Has been full of loads of personal knowledge & experience.
