Hope this isn't a bad sign, a couple places here were $2.19 all week, now up to $2.25 yesterday. 35 miles away, it's $2.10 a gallon.

Hmmm, money in oil baron's pockets? The government may not have directly raised or lowered prices but they sure supported legislation that helped the oil barons and negated legislation that would have been able to watch for price gouging. That is still showing support for an industry that made obscene profits in the midst of struggling average Americans trying to stay afloat. BTW, I'm not a Rep or a Dem; just a struggling average American whose fed up with both parties.

BTW, I just got back from FL (not a pleasure trip when you wait out at a hospital for 10 hours per day for a week) and when I left N IL, prices were $2.14/gal. I get back and they are back up to $2.34/gal.
