Got to agree.

But like his presidency, no good will come of this ( Thread )

A friend of mine has a bumper sticker with that written on it. Some rabbid political guy tried running him off the highway while screaming out the widow at him!
The Bush Button is like the Clinton Button. Brings out the worst in so many people.

I've lost friends over this presidency. Never had that happen in the past.
Very divided , we are ( Yoda Speak )

And I've never voted for a winner yet. I'm so far off the mainstream NOONE represents my world view

Yet another Bush hating thread on the internet. Oh well. My guess is that even if a Democrat wins the next election, not much is really going to be different--except that the Democrat-controlled Congress won't be investigating every time Hillary Clinton's secretary takes a smoke break. Then she'll do something insanely stupid like her husband did with Somalia, first WTC bombing, and health care "reform", and the Republicans will take back Congress.

It's the natural political cycle.

I used to worry about who was in presidency and what was happening in the political world, but now I realize that it's a waste of my time.

I know that Capitol Hill affects my life, as it does pretty much the whole world, but it's pretty useless for me to fret about the stuff that I can't change. I see no hope for any betterment, at least not in a large scale, no matter who the next president is.

If the vp had been Colin Powell instead of Cheney it might not be so bad. Cheney has been a strong influence on Bush and that has not been such a good thing.

Got to agree there. But instead the administration treated Powell poorly and after use, put him out to pasture. He deserved better and so did we.

Ah well, it's all screwed up now. No one can fix it.
Runnaway train anyone.

It's all about finger pointing and NOT taking responsibility. A very childish government in too many ways. Both sides are criminals. They should fear us, but instead we fear them. Just try voting someone out and see how bitterly defensive they become.
They feel it it THEIR right to be ruling us and not our right to question them. We do not live in a frat house here.......

Ah, don't get me going. I'll go back to my mantra
" Nothing good will come of this"

Better be careful..with the Patriot Act and all the government snooping into anything and everything this site is no doubt being monitored and now all of us (with the possible exception of hhrcrafty) are being targeted for more surveillance and possibly criminal charges for daring to question the exalted Dubya.
