That is the sad truth, isn't it?

Now day's very little of the " we can agree to disagree school of thought."

No one wants balance, they all want things run their way or hit the highway.

Gingrich ran symposiums during the last couple of election cycles where he lectured his minions to divide and conquer with the three "Gs", God , Guns, and Gays.
Spread fear of the other and use emotional issues to frighten and subverse folks. Worked well.
The Dems are not nearly as organized in their shenanigans.

But The anger level has raised to nearly intolerable levels at times between we folks who really SHOULD be getting along. We do have more that binds us than divides us, but our elected leaders choose to keep the focus on the fear of the other and issues that divide for party gain.

No hope of much change in me eyes.

No fun playfully talking about candidates . It is more about an all or nothing game for either of the parties. Party affiliation is a joke since the parties act like the other so often. Both are parties of big government and even bigger government.
I'd never be a card carrying member of either party. Folks that are need to look more closely at what their party is really about as opposed to what it claims to be.
But I know it is easier to just pull a lever and do what you are told.......

Too much hypocrisy and anger. It gets me down, and I know I'm not alone......................

Of course not! You're missing my point! I'm just saying these two Countries in particular seem to have a twisted notion that someone is going to attack them. Who?? Us?? We've got all we can handle now in the Middle East and probably will for some time to come. Aren't their leaders able to see this on their own. Why would we attack them anyway? We'd "All" be back in the Stone Age.

Yeah...the way I see it,no Republican stands much of a chance this time around. So my vote just cancels out some Democrat's vote. And it sure would be nice to see more than half of our country's registered voters turn out this time.

Unfortunately, yes.... it sure ain't that simple. When the US gets sucked down the drain Canada's going to be along for the ride.

I some how doubt that. Should we include Mexico as well cause they share a border with the US.

Don't write the Republicans off just yet...there sure as hell isn't anyone on the Democratic side that is causing people to jump up and down.

Anybody can talk a good talk but that doesn't mean that they can get done what they say they are going to do.

The future is beginning to look like a loose confederation of Canada, USA, and Mexico combined into one North American trade zone with fuzzy borders and a common currency. I don't know if that will be good or bad, but the soverneignity of nations in general will/is going to be sacrificed upon the Altar of Globalization, in favor of free trade.

Father and Son was a bad idea. Bush is just a pawn put in the White House to blame for all the things that the Warmongers get us into. He is like a puppet saying everything to get us to feel good about this country. He should go hunting with Cheney. Whoops,I thought it was a quall.
