We may not have seen the last of Saab. They have filed for bankruptcy, but the bankruptcy laws in Sweden state that though they have filed for bankruptcy they can be bought out of bankruptcy and there are a few bids to buy the company out. The two I miss the most are Oldsmobile and Plymouth.

Amoco was sold at BP's. As of 2008 BP has mostly discontinued selling Amoco fuels in favor of BP gasoline with invigorate.

Hummer being called "Iconic"? That sure seems like a misuse of the word.

I think the first Hummer that is on the same platform as the military vehicle could be called iconic. After that (H2, etc), meh.

1960 Catalina

Local store here still displays Amoco. Funny, when I lived in SC, BP was usually higher, here, it's cheaper. Might be an old sign, dunno. I usually buy mine at either Shell or Kroger to get use my bonus points...
