well since it was $3000 more for an SS Camaro than a Z28, I'm figuring similary for the HHR SS. So right now, a fully-loaded MSRP of a 2LT goes around $24K...
a new loaded HHR SS will prolly sticker around $27K. Im talkin loaded here, not base price.

Add a "Dealer Premium" of anywhere around $3K additional, and you have a sticker around $30K when they first come out.

My Prediction: dealers and private parties will be buying them up at first and selling them on eBay and I would not be surprised to see them auctioning for around $35-40K on there.
Thats exactly what happened when the C6 Z06's first came out. Yeah you could get one... for EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!

This is just a guess, of course. I'm hoping they'll be somewhat less, as I plan to be in the market for a new car next fall and yeah, I could see me driving a new HHR SS!

Nice photoshop job! But I've got a feeling, based on the spy photos, that Chevy is testing that SS concept with a single grille bar with a mesh grille behind...

see if you can drop THAT in... in Photoshop!

Worthy of trading in my new Camaro? No. Worthy of trading in my current HHR for the SS? Of course!! Maybe. I don't know, I may miss the one I have now.
