Yep boost should be lower, maf should read higher if the engine is more efficient.

I've owned one a/t car and never really liked it. Was thrilled to own a 2.4l HHR 5spd and even more so to have the Solstice GXP 5spd. I didn't realize, if that number is correct, that so few m/t are available.

I have a GMTU , That and i have removed most of the weather striping, And any panels , Flaps , Ect. that changed , Or stoped the flow of air over , And threw the engine compartment .I boost over 28 PSI With the spectra sitting under the scoop, I know this is not healthy for this engine , Trust me i know. I regularly clear
over boost CEL codes . Gotta love the Aeroforce gauges.

With this set up , 28 is the norm , And it will spin threw second every time, Feathering the ying and yang of traction.

I will add that boost is up by 4-5 with this engine , Not sure if it's because it's fresh . ?
But with the old enginge , 24 was about the most i ever saw.

And i have no idea what the short block they put in is or , I have no serial # on reciets , Not sure what year the block was made .
I'm just gonna drive it till it fail's again , Then i'm gonna buy that F-IN black SS panel on EBAY with 890 miles on it .

A/Ts are fine. I learned on a stick and it seems too easy to drive an auto. But I am fine with an auto since I don't 'race' There are a few times a manual is an advantage. Like off roading, etc.

I once had a datsun with a stick and the starter went out. I would back onto a li'l hill at work so I could just pop the clutch and go. I did that for about a month.
