What did all of you think of Tuesday's tryouts? Wasn't Randy quite a surprise? Do you think he and Simon had a deal to reverse roles?

The worst part is they found 17 singers in a crowd of 10,000. That's terrible! I hear Seattle will be even worse tonight but I have to watch Friday Night Lights staring our favorite American automobile!

 

Is that why they call it Minnicrapolis?

Aghh! I forgot to watch last night!!

 

I hate this show, but I had to watch the first 2 nights so I have something to laugh at Sorry to say but these people need to know before they go that they suck. This is just like watching a bad train wreck take place

 

So far the brother and sister from India, the two black 16 year olds and the girl from Central America ( I think) are the only ones that have impressed me at all, but I think they are the only ones that made it that they have showcased. I don't care for this portion of the show. I want to see the ones that can sing, not the freak show auditions. Bring on the talent!

BTW yes I am hooked. I love this show! Too bad they put it on the same time as Deal or No Deal

 

I like this part of the show, course I like freakshows, so go figure.

 

If it wasn't for this portion of the show, the ratings would never pull out of the gutter. I mean what fun is an Idol show without a Simon insult.

And the auditioning part is full of them.

 

American Idol reminds me of the old "Gong Show" from years ago. Only on a much larger scale! About the same degree of talent though for the most part.
